The clothing and objects we carry are meant to be kept for a lifetime, not one season. Anything built for that kind of use will eventually need repair.
Our custom-wash vintage denim, in particular, tends to reveal exactly where it works hardest: at the knee, the pocket edge, the fold of a cuff. Our denim jackets are no different.
If you already own clothing built to last, bring us the pieces that need attention. We don't hide the work of repair. We use visible mending, drawing on techniques like sashiko, to reinforce a worn spot in a way that adds to the piece rather than concealing what happened to it.
Community repair events.
We'll provide the fabric and the thread. You bring the piece and the time. Come mend, learn the stitch, and spend an evening with your neighbors.
